During the use of explosion-proof motors, the faults caused by the machine base are mainly manifested in its deformation, and the deformation of the machine base will directly affect the operation of the explosion-proof motor. So, what causes the base to deform? Changzhou Maxtree Technology Co., Ltd. explained the reasons for the deformation of the explosion-proof motor base:

The deformation of the explosion-proof motor base is composed of two factors: design and manufacture:

1. Reasons for the design: The force-bearing parts are not designed in full accordance with the theory of structural mechanics, such as the design of the size, shape and position of the axial and radial ribs on the machine base; the overall design of the machine base is uneven. For example, the remaining effective part of the lower part after machine base processing is too small.
2. Production reasons: The time limit is not in place; the clamping part and the force are not uniform during metalworking processing. After processing, after the clamping part is released, the machine base is deformed due to rebound. Deformation occurs during handling, but this is a secondary reason.
Due to the existence of the resonance phenomenon in the operation of the explosion-proof motor, it often appears at a certain speed and is fleeting during the start-up process. Therefore, the deformation of the machine base is not easy to be noticed. The deformation caused by insufficient aging is not easy to be noticed. Because it takes a long time to completely release the welding stress, it is difficult to find it during processing, especially when the construction period is short. This is also a typical hidden danger. Therefore, special attention must be paid in the production process of explosion-proof motors.
